About Us
Welcome to Glendowie Padel Indoors
We are a local, family-run business that has been involved with Glendowie Tennis Club for decades. We are all padel enthusiasts and are committed to growing the sport here in New Zealand.
Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or competing at a high level, you'll be welcomed and supported here at Glendowie Padel Indoors. Our goal is to bring people together, foster the community, and grow the sport we love.

Our professional sports facility is located in Auckland near Churchill Park in Glendowie. We understand Auckland's crazy weather so we have created two indoor padel courts that are fully enclosed with an 11m high roof. The doubled layered canvas works to regulate temperature within the structure, therefore condensation does not effect the glass. Racket hire and balls are available for purchase via our vending machine on site (paywave). Our booking platform is Playtomic. This software allows you to book a court with ease and enables you to connect with other players.

Looking forward to seeing you out on court!
Our Story
Co-founders Ollie, Emma, Nigel and Jean

Our journeys all began on the court. Jean and Nigel, who have been married for over 40 years, first met on the tennis court. They are both competitive, determined and proved to be a solid mixed doubles pairing. Through their love of tennis they encouraged their children to play.
Ollie, who is the son of Jean and Nigel, grew up playing on the tennis courts at Glendowie Tennis Club and was quite literally crawling along the courts while Jean battled playing her Mid Week Tennis on a Thursday morning.
Fast forward to 2018, where at a Tennis coaching course Ollie meets Emma. Ollie and Emma are now engaged and are the Head Coaches of Glendowie Tennis Club. When padel first came to New Zealand 2016, we all were addicted. Jean and Nigel both leapt onto the padel court after a long hiatus from tennis and now they can't keep off the court! With any spare time, Ollie and Emma are training on the court working to maintain their New Zealand Number 1 padel rankings.

We believe padel is more than just a game, it’s a way to connect, to compete, and to create lasting memories.

We’re so glad you’re part of this journey with us.
