Ollie Bartosh

Director & Head Coach 

Oliver Bartosh 

Ollie is the founder of Glendowie Padel Indoors and of The Racket (coaching business). Ollie first started playing tennis at the age of four. He competed in countless tournaments as a junior and played Caro Bowl Reserve. Ollie is also a high-performance Padel player and is ranked no. 1 in New Zealand. Ollie has played padel at a high performance level for the past 2 years and travels domestically and internationally to compete in tournaments.

He has over 20 years’ experience coaching junior and senior players in tennis and Ollie has made the transition to padel with ease. Ollie has coached beginner to advanced & high-performance players in padel, including some of New Zealand's top seniors. 

 

Ollie's qualifications include:

  • Head or senior coaching positions held at several large Auckland tennis clubs

  • Level 1 Coaching - International Tennis Federation

  • Level 1 Coaching - Padel NZ Certified

  • Bachelor of Business (Finance), AUT

  • Bachelor of Sport and Recreation (Management), AUT

  • Crossfit Level 1 Certified Trainer

  • First Aid Level 1 Qualification

Director & Senior Coach 

Emma Eccleton

Emma has played tennis from the age of 5 and has competed domestically and internationally in ITF tournaments. As a high-performance player Emma competed in Caro Bowl and quickly gravitated to tennis coaching from the age of 13. Emma made the switch to padel two years ago and is now a high-performance Padel player and is ranked no. 1 in New Zealand. She has been head coach at multiple Auckland clubs and enjoys working with players of all ages and skill levels while creating an environment that is best suited to the player/s and their goals.

 

Emma’s qualifications include: 

  • Head or senior coaching positions held at multiple Auckland tennis clubs

  • Level 1 ITF Coaching Certification

  • Level 1 Coaching - Padel NZ Certified

  • Bachelor of Business (Management and Marketing), AUT 

  • College Sport Certified

  • First Aid Level 1 Qualification

Adrian Lagman

Senior Coach 

Adrian Lagman 

Adrian first started playing tennis when he was 7. After one year he started playing competitively and developed a major love for the sport. Key achievements in Adrian’s tennis career include a career high ranking of 4th in NZ juniors (2016), being an NZ Representative in 2016, played in an international tournament at the IMG Academy and obtaining a ranking of #1357 in the ITF Juniors Circuit. Adrian's high performance in tennis has made an easy switch to padel, playing at a high-performance level in Padel and is ranked no. 3 in New Zealand.

Adrian’s coaching career first kicked off when he was recruited as a hitting partner for many top NZ up-and-coming juniors at various top tennis academies in NZ. His passion soon grew for coaching, and he pursued this in 2019. Adrian has played high performance padel for the last few years and he coaches all ages and abilities, with a particular focus and passion for high-performance.

Adrian’s qualifications include: 
 

  • Certified Junior Development Coach (ITF Level 1)

  • Level 1 Coaching - Padel NZ Certified

  • 3rd year Sport and Exercise Science Student at AUT

  • Currently working as a strength and conditioning coach at Athlete Development at AUT Millennium

  • First Aid certified

  • Simon Wheatley (professional tennis coach at the LTA’s) Junior High-Performance Coach Education Course

Andy

Senior Coach 

Andy Chaing

Andy has been playing tennis since he was 8 years old. He has competed extensively in tournaments and competitions through school and clubs, representing Auckland Grammar School in their Premier team and Remuera Rackets in their Caro Reserve team.

 

Andy has a passion for teaching the game of tennis and has coached beginners through to competition level players of all ages. Andy is playing at a high performance level in padel and travels domestically to compete in national events. He loves to empower players with the skills and knowledge to excel on the court.

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Economics), University of Auckland

  • Level 1 Coaching - Padel NZ Certified

  • First Aid certified

  • Held senior coaching roles at multiple Auckland tennis clubs
